Me
In 1993 at the age of 5, I remember fumbling with a VHS tape called “The Bear,” trying to figure out how it fit into our old VHS player. Finally, with a little assistance from my Mom, a warm, scratchy image appeared on our 13” Zenith - a little bear cub with a glorious mountainous backdrop. I was awestruck, it was the first time I saw a bear and real wilderness, “That must be Alaska,” my Mom said: “That’s where I’m gunna live when I grow up,” I murmured.
I moved to Skagway, Alaska in 2017 to work as a bicycle tour guide. That summer changed my life forever. As an Alaska resident for over eight years based primarily in Southeast, I’ve held many gigs including performing musician and teacher, multi-day backpacking guide, kayak guide, canoe guide, field manager, council member, carpenter, builder, and trail crew lead.
Besides Music, you can find me playing in the mountain with my family, skateboarding, filming, fly fishing, hiking, camping, amp building, drawing, running, ice climbing, or cooking, or eating.
